Briem began her acting career as an actress at National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. In the year 16 Briem moved to London where he participated in a production for the theater of the play Lenin in Love in The New End Theater. Briem, then 19, was accepted to at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She studied there over three years. Briem earned her degree in Drama, and was awarded the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. He was involved in numerous productions during his time at RADA and was in plays such as The Cherry Garden directed by Anton Chekhov or Bernarda Alba's House by Federico Garcia Lorca. Briem performed in the London theater upon graduation. He performed the role of a Catalog of Misunderstanding by Mike Figgis in the National Theater Studio and the five-month West End season of Losing Louis. Anisa Butt is an British television and film actress who works in Indian television and cinema. She began her career with a role as a kid actor on Ishaan, a television program that aired for a few months on Disney Channel India. The film she made her debut in was Shuja Al's Baat Bann Gayi.
